Happy 4th Birthday Sierra

Happy Birthday Sierra! Somehow I blinked and you went from my little baby to a capable, loving, independent 4 year old little girl. Every day, I see more and more how grown up you’ve become.

One of the things I love most about you is your enthusiasm. You are so happy – like your dad says, you didn’t just begin to walk when you were a baby, you began to bounce. Your smile, sweet words, and laugh make every day more enjoyable for all of us who get to have you in our lives.

I feel so much love from you when you give me a hug or I hold you in my arms. And I hope that never goes away.

You are the child who gets the “short end of the stick” so they say… the third child. But with the tagging along, watching others perform, and often being the one who “doesn’t get to” — you have learned a grace that few of us can ever master – you appreciate the good things that come to you, you look forward to your special moments, you show us all that life is not about what you get, but how you enjoy what you have.

Keep being the shining star that you are and we will keep supporting you along the way. We are your family who will always be here for you – through the good and the bad. And I know your life will be full of adventure as you take your enthusiasm out into the world. You will be unstoppable.
